Mean GP Earnings
All GP Practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs working in the Minster Medical Practice in the last financial year was £52,414 before Tax and National Insurance. This is for 1 full time GP and 2 locum GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.
Named GP for all Patients
From April 2016 it is a requirement of the new GP contract that all patients, including children, must be allocated a named, accountable GP who takes overall responsibility for your health care. As the Senior Partner in our practice, Dr Rob Bailey is the named GP for all patients registered at Minster Medical Practice.
Please note that this does NOT however, prevent you from seeing other GPs in the practice, who assist Dr. Bailey in delivering your care, as you currently do.
